Mississauga Foundation Launches ‘Give a Little, Mean A Lot’ Campaign to Empower Inclusive Local Giving
Mississauga, ON, August 27, 2025 — The Mississauga Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its innovative campaign, Give a Little, Mean A Lot, designed to redefine philanthropy and make giving accessible for everyone.
“Philanthropy isn’t just for the wealthy — it’s for all of us,” said Glenn Gumulka, President & CEO, of the Mississauga Foundation. “With just $2 a day, anyone can create a meaningful impact in their own community.”
The campaign encourages residents to start small and build their own charitable fund, invested right here in Mississauga. Over five years, a daily contribution of $2 grows to $2,500, fueling projects that support Food Security, Children & Youth, Newcomers, Environment, and Arts & Culture and pressing needs in Mississauga.
This fresh approach breaks down stereotypes of giving, focusing on personal values, inclusion, and collective impact.
“Giving back is personal, powerful, and starts now — no matter your age or income,” added Harshita Rathod, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Mississauga Foundation. “Together, we’re building a stronger Mississauga.”
